Local Vibration

Studies suggest that the use of local vibration results in the manipulation of the nervous system to reduce overactivity of muscles without effecting the reactive component of the stretch reflex associated with sports performance and power activities.

Local vibration is used to:

  • Prevent inflammation and delayed-onset muscle soreness following strenuous exercise (particularly when performed pre-workout)
  • Reduce acute muscle pain
  • Support an increase of muscular strength of deconditioned muscles without weight-bearing
  • May enhance performance in subsequent workouts
